Demonstrate thought leadership on Cloud Risk, Governance and Compliance requirements as a trusted Risk advisor to the Chief Technology Officer and the team • Responsible for the design and implementation / support the business to design and implement controls to enable better risk and compliance outcomes • Identify, lead, and manage the continuous improvement of the business control environment by using data to generate insights and report
Roles & Responsibilities

- Responsible for the design and implementation / support the business to design and implement controls to enable better risk and compliance outcomes
- Identify, lead and manage the continuous improvement of the business control environment by using data to generate insights and reports
- Manage root cause analysis of issues and incidents, identifying and implementing control improvements
- Responsible for the effective design of controls for all new and changing processes and operations, and support the business through the implementation
- Identify, initiate and manage actions to mitigate risks and to strengthen controls, including issues identified through audits and other external processes
- Responsible for data quality in/maintain various databases (including RiskInSite) and monthly management reporting
- Contribute to a proactive risk and control culture and collaborate with the business
- Provide support for Senior Manager, Risk and Control Enablement.
- Responsible for ensuring risks are profiled and captured in the Risk Profile (RCSA) and updated when risk trigger events occur
- Responsible for ensuring the correct risk and controls overlay the end to end process mapping and documentation management to support the control process
- Work effectively with Line 2 colleagues to determine optimal course of action to remediate any significant data integrity issues within the BU.
Essential Skills:
- 9-12 years’ experience in banking/financial services/other relevant experience and/or Minimum 6 years’ in Cloud Risk, Cloud Risk assessment.
- Risk management experience in AWS.
- Control design experience would be advantageous
- Risk management, Risk Advisory
- Risk aspects of Cloud platform
- Experience of working with regulatory bodies.
- CCSP/AWS Security/AWS solutions architect Certifications are preferred
- Experience in in working as a Line 1 advisor and provide consultation support to the business.
Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
