Purpose of Role:

The Risk Analyst supports the Risk Manager and the Risk team in conducting quantitative analysis of the business and its risks.

Marex has unique access across markets with significant share globally both on and off exchange. The depth of knowledge amongst its teams and divisions provides its customers with clear advantage, and its technology-led service provides access to all major exchanges, order-flow management via screen, voice and DMA, plus award-winning data, insights, and analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Use Power BI, Power Pivot to develop data analysis prototype, and use Power View and Power Map to visualize reports
•  Explore data in a variety of ways and across multiple visualizations using Power BI
•  Monitor market risk (customer and house portfolios), conduct ad-hoc risk analysis.
• Continuous interaction with global front office staff including exercising delegated authorities for trades/positions outside the limits.
• Produce daily risk reports.
• Conduct ongoing review and enhancement of the risk management framework; collaborate with internal developers and external vendors on risk systems/applications development.
• Manage several projects including improving existing processes, risk models and methodologies
•  Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges
•  Liaise with compliance, operations, and IT to enforce and implement new risk management related regulation/rules.
• Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

Skills and Experience

• At least two (2) years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree and preferably in a quantitative field.
• Experience programming (Python) strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
  

Salary Range: $75,000 to $100,000 per year and eligible for discretionary bonus.
