This position will provide strategic and operational leadership to a team of Business Development Managers to proactively meet sales, revenue, retention and organizational objectives. You will be accountable for both personal and team targets, with a collective goal of driving new business territory in emerging Southeast Asia countries.

About the Role
In this opportunity as Regional Sales Lead, SEA (Legal), you will:

  • Own the Market: Take charge of our diverse portfolio in SEA, identifying new opportunities and crafting strategies that drive growth across key markets for our Legal Know-How Research and Gen-AI propositions.
  • Lead from the Front: Be the Player Coach and drive a personal Sales Quota and inspire and mentor a small team of talented Legal sales professionals, empowering them to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Lead a small team of BDMs ensuring that that both personal and team revenue targets are met and over-achieved;  Create a positive and high performance culture and sales environment. 
    Act as Coach to support and train the team in sales methodologies ensuring best practice is embedded. 
  • Deliver Results: Build and execute sales plans that align with our business goals, ensuring we exceed sales and revenue targets.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that truly add value to their businesses.
  • Innovate and Strategize: Work closely with marketing, product, and sales enablement teams to unlock the full potential of our offerings.
  • Research and understand the market including competitor analysis; Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the external industry environment and internal systems and products to support your team in providing an exceptional customer experience and to maximise sales opportunities. 
  • Ensure that all daily transaction requirements, administrative tasks, reporting and other such tasks are carried out in accordance with TR policy and practices; Maintain detailed records in CRM and your sales pipeline to develop strong forecasting 

About You
You’re a fit for the role of Regional Sales Lead, SEA (Corporates) if your background includes:

  • Proven Sales Leadership: 5+ years of sales experience, including managing a team in a high-growth environment.
  • Act as Coach to support and train the team in sales methodologies ensuring best practice is embedded. 
  • Legal Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of legal processes, tools, technologies in in-house teams and law firms (law degree will be of advantage)
  • SEA Expertise: Strong knowledge of Southeast Asia’s market dynamics, cultures, and industries.
  • Client-Focused Mindset: A track record of building and nurturing long-term client relationships with Corporate in-house teams and law firms.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to craft and execute plans that align with broader business objectives.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Familiarity with CRM tools and using data to inform decisions and forecast effectively.
  • ​Exceptional Communication: Inspiring leader and persuasive communicator, fluent in English (additional SEA languages a plus).
