About the Role 

We’re looking for individuals with a knack for attention to detail, organization, and coordination. Our Recruiting Coordinators will handle everything from scheduling interviews to tracking candidate data and ensuring that candidates have a lasting positive experience throughout the interview process. 

The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced startup-like environment and wearing multiple hats while keeping our candidate’s experience in mind. Availability, flexibility, and adaptability are the keys to success in this role.

  • Play a crucial role within a fast-paced environment while working to coordinate and manage onsite, phone, and virtual candidate interviews.
  • Schedule candidate interviews and handle any type of candidate logistics promptly and accurately
  • Represent and facilitate exceptional partnerships with all stakeholders, candidates, hiring managers, and interviewers to drive excellent customer service and consistent, high-quality work
  • Drive and participate in ad hoc process improvement initiatives and other special projects
  • Ensure data integrity and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system, Greenhouse
  • Evaluate and recommend recruitment strategies and solutions to make our processes more efficient
  • Meet our research team and their candidates where and when they operate. This will be an in office role in Palo Alto. Core hours are 12pm to 8pm.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years experience people operations or recruiting functions
  • Availability to flex work hours.  

Preferred Skills or Qualifications

  • Experience working within recruiting coordination, specifically within research groups
  • Experience with Greenhouse
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple on-going projects, be flexible to change, and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Team player with a high sense of urgency
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Annual Salary Range

$75,000 - $90,000 USD

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at xAI. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses. You will also receive access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short & long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and various other discounts and perks. You may be eligible to participate in the “flexible time off” policy & will be eligible for 10 or more paid holidays per year.
