Intern for the World’s Leading Dog and Cat Products Supplier

As an intern at PetSafe Brands, you can expect to experience: 

• Coffee & Conversation: Throughout your time with us, you’ll have the opportunity to sit with different leaders across the organization in a panel discussion over coffee to ask questions about our culture, products, and their role at PetSafe Brands. 
• Training: You’ll receive training throughout your internship in the areas of PetSafe Brands culture, goal setting, presentation skills, and you’ll have the opportunity to practice the information you learn on the job! 
• Collaboration: You will be given opportunity to work cross functionally throughout PSB and gain experience working with different business units on a daily basis!

What projects/responsibilities would this intern be learning and taking on?:

As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will support the Quality Engineering team in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality processes and systems. You will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the improvement of product quality through various testing, analysis, and quality assurance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of test plans and quality assurance processes.
• Perform quality testing and document results, ensuring products meet design specifications.
• Support the design and implementation of automated testing processes.
• Assist in data analysis and prepare reports to track product quality metrics.
• Conduct root cause analysis for identified defects and suggest corrective actions.
• Support quality audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and design teams to ensure that product quality standards are met.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancement.
• Assist in maintaining and improving Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of quality management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with various testing methodologies and tools (e.g., manual, automated testing).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information clearly
