Tipalti is looking for an experienced and motivated Automation Team Lead to join our engineering organization.
As the Automation Infrastructure Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining the robust automation infrastructure & tools that serves QA engineers across the engineering organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 5 automation & performance engineers, providing support, guidance, and expertise to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of our automation infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their automation needs and align infrastructure development accordingly.
- Research and develop cutting-edge tools and capabilities to enhance the automation infrastructure, aligning with the company's goal of maintaining an advanced and up-to-date project.
- Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to the existing automation architecture.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to automation engineers within the teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and training programs to enhance the skill set of the automation engineering teams.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in web-based automation.
- 5+ years of experience in building automation infrastructure and designing automation architecture.
- 2+ years of experience as a team lead.
- 3+ years of experience with JavaScript / Typescript and a deep understanding of scripting languages.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for documenting and connecting with various stakeholder groups.
- Ability to prioritize tasks individually and effectively communicate priorities to the team.
- Self-learner and independent executor, staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and drive initiatives forward.
