Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Implementation Project Manager to join our team. This role will be a member of the Professional Services organization responsible for implementing technology solutions in customer environments. This is a critical role that requires a proactive approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. It requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading project implementation initiatives, developing project plans, ensuring successful project delivery, and managing project budgets and timelines. They will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead teams. Role will also be responsible for identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Skills for the position:
- Experience in implementing complex technology solutions for customers.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan for customer testing and implementation activities.
- Set and communicate expectations (verbal and written) with project teams and resources; ability to hold resources accountable for assigned work and timelines.
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
- Defining goals and tracking progress towards those goals.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Develop and maintain project documentation.
- Ability to work independently and successful in working in a virtual environment.
- Ensure alignment with NCRV and customer organizational objectives.
- Prior experience with retail software solutions and retail business operations is a plus.
- Understanding of software development and Quality Assurance (QA) testing methodologies is a plus.
Responsibilities will include:
- Regular onsite coordination and support of customer solution testing, lab management, and customer production go-live support.
- Detailed planning, coordination, and execution of regular testing activities of NCRV solution releases by customer teams.
- Partnering with customer teams to support development of test cases and applying retail business operational workflows to effectively test and certify solution for production.
- Tracking and managing customer reported testing issues. Driving Engineering teams to define timelines to deliver remediation releases. Regular reporting status of remediation releases and planning for customer re-testing.
- Define and apply process to manage complex matric of lab environments used by NCRV and customer teams.
- Regular coordination between NCRV Professional Services and customer to plan for upgrades and changes to individual labs. Tracking change requests and maintaining details of each lab in use for the implementation program.
