Project Manager
Huntsman is seeking a Project Manager supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in The Woodlands, Texas or Los Angeles, California. This position will report to the Americas Regional Operational Marketing Director.
Job Scope
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to lead our product change program, focused on evaluating the current and future business needs for our specialty aerospace adhesives in aircraft applications.
This role will require strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliance with aircraft specifications and regulatory requirements while driving positive business impact and customer satisfaction.
In summary, as the Project Manager, you will:
- Lead a business-critical program for the Advanced Materials division of Huntsman that defines what changes need to be made for future proofing our Aerospace product portfolio.
- Create plans that consider OEM specification requirements, regulatory requirements, production capacity and capabilities that impact the business and customers. Coordination efforts can be across multiple US locations as well as global locations.
- Evaluate the impact of raw material obsolescence, regulatory changes, and production process updates on product specifications and manufacturing procedures for aerospace materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Regulatory and customers to identify key challenges, opportunities, and strategic initiatives for the program.
- Working within Huntsman processes, manage multiple project timelines to ensure timely delivery of program objectives and milestones.
- Collect and consider customer feedback. Share with teams as appropriate to adjust plans as that work for both customer and Huntsman.
- Monitor and report on the program's progress, performance metrics, and key performance indicators to track impact on business growth, customer satisfaction, and compliance with aircraft specifications.
- Communicate program updates, findings, and recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders to drive alignment and support for program objectives.
- Gather information from Sales and Marketing to properly assess the current business landscape and future growth opportunities for specialty aerospace adhesives in aircraft usage.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidates must be US citizens.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering or any business discipline in marketing or product management
Experiences:
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in managing projects in chemical manufacturing or specialty chemicals business
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Background in marketing, sales, manufacturing, or technical support is beneficial.
- Experience and know-how in the aerospace, automotive, or adhesives market is an asset.

- Must possess strong negotiation, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Domestic travel up to 25% of the time.
