This position is responsible for providing management and direction for projects associated with the deployment, implementation, and maintenance of Fortra products for new and existing customers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage assigned projects through successful completion, ensuring compliance with project lifecycle and project management principles.
- Act as primary contact communicating with customers regarding process, progress, and completion.
- Guide, mentor, and evaluate internal project team performance within project guidelines.
- Provide feedback to internal stakeholders on challenges and success of assigned projects.
- Perform or coordinate follow-up as necessary to complete projects and elicit customer satisfaction.
- Create timelines, agendas, and meeting recaps to keep project on time and according to defined budget.
- Report project status, schedules, issues, resolutions, and completions as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience managing software product implementation projects.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
- Confident and positive attitude in facing complex organizations and processes.
- Project management certification (PMP) preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and quality.
- Effective interpersonal and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively manage and organize multiple projects and responsibilities.
