Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead business transformation initiatives focused on commodity trading and risk management at capSpire. This role requires a unique blend of expertise, business acumen, and strong leadership skills to drive successful enterprise-wide transformations that optimize trading operations and risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end business transformation projects, from requirements gathering through deployment and post-go-live support.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and subject matter experts. · Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams ·
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for end-users. ·
- Provide regular status updates and presentations to executive stakeholders. ·
- Manage client expectations and ensure high satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of project management experience, with ideally at least 4 years specifically in implementations
- Strong understanding of commodity trading operations, risk management, and market fundamentals.
- Proven track record of successful large-scale system implementations.
- Experience with major CTRM platforms (e.g., Allegro, OpenLink, Triple Point)
- PMP certification or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in relevant field
- Experience in multiple commodity classes (oil, gas, power, metals)
- Knowledge of financial markets and derivatives trading
- Experience with data migration and system integration projects
- Familiarity with scripting languages and SQL
- Industry certifications in risk management or energy trading

Travel & Work Requirements
