ETRM in its capacity as Second Line of Defense (SLOD) is responsible for leadership, oversight, monitoring, and advisement around the technologies, architecture, operational processes, security, and resiliency
Who we are looking for
As a representative of the ETRM group, you will be amid State Street’s multi-year technology transformation journey, regulatory requirements and technology risk assurance programs of various Business Units within State Street. The candidate will closely work with the global ETRM team leads and other cross functional teams such as First Line of Defense (FLoD), Technology divisions (Global Technology Services - GTS, Global Cybersecurity Services - GCS etc.) and Third Line of Defense (TLoD)
What you will be responsible for
As an Assistant Vice President, Project Manager, Communications, Training – ETRM, you will be responsible for providing support on below areas:
- Lead the end-to-end planning and project management aspects of the ETRM Strategic Plan
- Collaboratively plan, organize, track and report the status of all elements of the ETRM Strategic Plan, including stakeholders within ETRM, cross-functional teams such as First line of defense, Operational Risk, Enterprise Risk, etc.
- Develop, communicate, maintain the end-to-end project plan, including scope and change control
- Persuade and influence colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Use a broad array of communication vehicles to lead, direct, and facilitate
- Anticipate critical issues and risks, and takes responsibilities for resolution including escalation where appropriate
- Leverage JIRA/Confluence sites to track the end-to-end project plan
- Enhance and maintain the training and communication program in support of ETRM functions

Primary Skills (Must Have)
- Strong program and project management skills (incl. industry best practices, managing stakeholders, managing change, project initiation, execution, monitoring and reporting, closure)
- Critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Proven strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Organized, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of Risk Management
- Business analysis (incl. data analysis, root cause analysis, trends, etc.)
- Proficient with MS Office suite (MS Project, MS PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Excel) and JIRA
- Experience in creating and delivering presentations for senior management audiences
- Experience in designing and executing training programs and communication programs
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Communications or relevant areas
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, with some exposure working at a financial services firm
- Familiarity in Technology and Cyber risk management frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, ITIL etc
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP), experience with Toastmasters, are a plus

Salary Range:
$80,000 - $132,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the location above, the applicable range could differ.
