Project Controller

About the Position

We are seeking a Project Controller to join our growing Energy pillar. This position can be based in Peachtree Corners, GA; Atlanta, GA; The Woodlands, TX; Denver, CO; or remote. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of related experience and will be responsible for collaborating with project managers on financial planning, tracking, budget analysis, and reporting across multiple projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Project Managers on project budgeting and forecasting.
• Identify and address issues affecting project profitability.
• Prepare cost presentations and participate in budget reviews.
• Act as a liaison between project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Support project kick-offs, including preparing agendas and meeting minutes.
• Provide project trend analysis and budget updates to management.
• Support project close-outs and verify subcontractor payments.
• Track multiple construction administration projects simultaneously.
• Maintain positive customer and client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of project financial cost tracking and forecasting.
• Experience with subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and vendor payments.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Prolog, P6)
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.

Additional Information
 

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Operations Controls Specialist with a salary range of $65,600.00 - $99,800.00 .
