Amentum is now hiring for a Program Specialist (Senior) position in support of the Product Director Sensors – Aerial Intelligence (PD SAI) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide the U.S. Army, Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEW&S) services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment PD SAI core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of PD SAI and its associated Product Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within PD SAI.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and perform work involving project milestones and budgets.
  • Provide advice and guidance to program and line managers on interpretation and formation of technical, functional and program management strategies.
  • Review individual project progress, measuring performance and recommending corrective actions to maintain agreed upon schedule and cost as well as overall program accomplishments.
  • Formulate alternative action proposals based on review findings.
  • Document and provide results of specific business process re-engineering initiatives and alternative action proposals.
  • Monitor individual project objectives, milestones, and budgets within the overall program objectives.
  • Prepare correspondence relevant to projects/programs.
  • Responsible for a variety of administrative, business and operational functions necessary to run a government program(s) efficiently. documentation, and spend plan management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or other related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in or supporting other similar Government programs (10 years of military service can be substituted as relevant experience).
  • Must have an active Top-Secret Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Government Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability in Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Past experience working in PD SAI or PEO IEW&S systems / projects
  • Knowledge of DoD funding process, program office estimate (POE) development, and budget forecasting. Experience with DoD 5000, FAR, DFARS, and AFARS.

Compensation:
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $150,000 - $168,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
