Summary: The designee is responsible for managing the contract and all associated tasks – cost, schedule, and performance. This person shall be the single point of contact to the government and will be responsible for overall contract management of Air Traffic Control (ATC), Airfield Management (AFM), and maintenance activities at multiple sites in the AFCENT AOR.
Responsibilities: Provide administrative and technical leadership in the completion of multiple contracts, including responsibility for cost, schedule and overall performance.
Plan and procure necessary staffing to achieve work completion milestones and deliverables.
Monitor fulfillment of contract requirements to ensure quality and timeliness of services/deliverables to various customers.
Supervise, coordinate, provide leadership to and review the work of assigned staff and/or contracts.
Interface with customers on a regular basis for support of engineering and program management activities. Monitor customer feedback and advise on a broad range of issues related to products/services being delivered.
Participate in business development including identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategies and managing proposal development.
Perform multi-disciplinary analysis of system designs to determine compliance with specifications and standards.
Direct the investigation and resolution of operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel.
Acts as a point-of-contact for all matters relating to the assigned contract for representative between government personnel and Amentum management team.
Provides management guidance and control for the efficient utilization of human resources assignment, performance, morale and overall welfare.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline. Recent, relevant, and demonstrated program/project management experience of at least seven (7) years can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree requirement. Ten (10) years experience in related field. Program Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired.
Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years program/project management experience. Knowledge of FAR and DoD procurement policies and procedures is required. Technical experience in support of aviation command and control is desirable. This includes aviation operations, equipment support, system support, personnel movement and tracking, and programmatic support. Experience may be cumulative but must be within the past 10 years. Required to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Specific Experience: This individual shall be knowledgeable and skilled in financial management processes and budgeting. The individual will have experience in both program management and team management. He/she shall be skilled in writing and validating technical and financial reports. This person shall demonstrate good problem-solving skills and experience overseeing accomplishments of multiple tasks by multiple sites leads.
