What you'll do...
Global Catalog is looking for an experienced Program Manager, with a deep understanding of data analysis principles, who will be central to the continued growth, efficiency, and success of the Catalog products as we expand to new markets.
About Team
The Global Catalog Team has one of the world's largest product taxonomies that is composed of team of top-notch data scientists, engineers and product managers in creating THE next-generation GLOBAL product taxonomy.
What you'll do
-
Collaborate directly with project stakeholders (product, design, engineering, business teams) to develop and drive overall goals for Global Catalog

Chart existing and define new workflows and processes for both existing and new ways of working

Define frameworks and execute program roadmaps and schedules for multiple workstreams

Identify and manage critical path workflows and cross-functional dependencies; collect and analyze project metrics to manage initiatives and drive accountability; identify and resolve bottlenecks

Escalate and communicate program related issues to mitigate risks

Own and drive stakeholder engagement for business planning process, KPI definition, executive updates, and agile practices

Evaluate the effectiveness of assigned programs and initiatives to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness with participating stakeholders

Support development of executive level presentations and perspectives.

Understanding of business value and relevance of data and data enabled insights / decisions.

Appropriate application and understanding of data ecosystem including Data Management, Data Quality Standards and Data Governance.

Understanding of the methods and applications that unlock the monetary value of data assets.

Helps identify the most suitable source for data that is fit for purpose.

Performs initial data quality checks on extracted data.
What you'll bring
-
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 2 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management or related area OR 4 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area.

Strong background in program and project management, process mapping, stakeholder leadership, production, and business operations with some experience with data analytics.

Experience managing large cross-functional teams and complex projects and programs.

Enjoy owning and developing plans for highly complex strategy, supporting long term business plans and executing prioritized strategic initiatives
-
Make the complex simple, showing strength in breaking down manual processes into easy-to-understand workflows to identify opportunities for efficiency

Are tenacious, dedicated and thrive working with ownership, autonomy, and a healthy dose of competition.

Adapt quickly with a demonstrated ability to prioritize work and flex where needed.

Knowledge of functional business domain and scenarios; Categories of data and where it is held; Business data requirements; Data Quality; Existing business systems and processes, including the key drivers and measures of success.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in product operations, release management, product strategy, process improvement, merchandising, vendor relations, data analytics, or tech start-ups.

Experience with international and/or global programs.

Experience using the following tools: Airtable and Visio (or other process mapping software). Tableau, BI and other data analysis tools.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
