About the role:

As a key member of our Commercial team, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and market share for an upcoming key brand launch. As part of this opportunity, you will work very closely with general practitioners (GPs), pharmacies and other stakeholders to acquire, grow and retain customers within your designated territory. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, tailoring a business strategy to meet those needs within Sandoz's value proposition, and providing exceptional service to them. To be successful in this role you will act as a thought-partner to establish and maintain effective partnerships with GPs, pharmacies and other stakeholders, leveraging networks and influence to support a successful launch and fast uptake.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Drive the rapid adoption of our new newly launched products with a core focus on establishing and maintaining robust relationships with GPs, pharmacies, other allied health professionals and key opinion leaders, securing opportunities to generate sales and long-term strategic partnerships;

  • Employ strong territory management skills, utilizing administrative reports, available resources, and CRM data to inform decision-making, effectively plan and execute business strategies; Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to support launch strategies that align with the needs and objectives of both the pharmacy industry, GPs and patients;

  • Develop a high level of knowledge about Sandoz's portfolio and value proposition to build credibility with key customers and effectively promote our products and services;

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to GPs, pharmacies and other allied health professionals addressing any queries or concerns to maintain trust and ensure customer satisfaction and long-term business growth;

  • Conduct regular market analytics on key industry trends, changes in healthcare regulations, opportunities and risks to provide valuable insights and recommendations for the improvement of sales strategies and the brand positioning;

  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjust approaches as necessary to meet sales and strategic business objectives;

  • Reporting of technical complaints, adverse events and special case scenarios related to Sandoz products within 24 hours of receipt.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Previous experience working as a pharmacist, pharmacy sales representative, GP sales representative or in a similar strategic sales role within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry;

  • Proactive and results-driven mindset, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;

  • Strong understanding of GP practice operations and/or pharmacy operations and the ability to effectively partner with healthcare professionals to drive sales;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with GPs, pharmacies, and internal stakeholders;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex market dynamics and develop effective strategies;

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, healthcare, business, or a related field

  • Willingness to travel as required for meetings, conferences, and client engagements;

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
