We are seeking a Product Manager to manage own the commercial customer facing Smart Tools in Varian. This critical role will have responsibility to the Serviceability portfolio lead to ensure our solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. This comprises of Smart Remote Services, Collaborative Planed Maintenance and Smart Docs.
Key responsibilities include:
In this role, you will demonstrate good business acumen and knowledge of operational requirements of the business. Know latest industry trends and looked at as an internal expert on the product as well as the associated competitive landscape.
- Define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and serviceability objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main contact for stakeholders, capturing and translating their requirements into actionable features.
- Roadmap Development: Define timelines and maintain the product roadmap, focusing on scalability, performance, and security.
- Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, collaborating with the development team for timely delivery that provide measurable value.
- User-Centric Design: Enhance usability and performance for 5,000+ users, ensuring a secure user experience.
- Collaboration with Development Teams: Convert business requirements into technical specifications for efficient implementation.
- Feature Definition: Write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and prioritize impactful features.
- Performance Focus: Ensure optimal performance for 30,000+ connections.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure features comply with internal security policies and regulations.
- Release Planning: Coordinate releases and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- KPI Monitoring: Define and track KPIs to measure the success.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback to drive product enhancements.
Expertise and Knowledge:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable interacting with technical and business professionals at every level.
- Experience writing user stories, creating product backlogs, prioritizing work, and performing story acceptance.
- Familiarity with large-scale computing platforms, multi-tenant architectures, cloud-based solutions, high availability solutions.
- Experience with productivity tools and languages (JAMA, AzDO, ).
- Manage team backlogs, detailed requirements, and work with co-located Agile teams at global R&D centers to deliver quality solutions.
- Participate in the vision, design, and implementation of quality products.
- Bring a user perspective to the design of our products, ensuring that we deliver products that our customers want to use.
Required Qualifications include:
- Product Management or equivalent experience
- Broad knowledge of enterprise IT and/or Cloud SaaS markets and products preferably directly related to the Healthcare Industry
- Experience identifying business opportunities, building a product strategy, and influencing to deliver against a multi-year roadmap
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of HIPAA / HITRUST / ISO27001 requirements a plus.
- Understanding of Agile SDLC methodologies.
- Understands core technologies utilized in their product domain and is fluent in pros and cons of technical alternatives.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive; demonstrated ability to have fun and inspire team members to enjoy work, be action-oriented and stretch their imagination.
