About ProBio
ProBio proactively provides end-to-end CDMO service from drug discovery to commercialization with proactive strategies, professional solutions and efficient processes in cell and gene therapy (CGT), vaccine, biologics discovery and antibody protein drug to accelerate drug development for customers. ProBio’s total cell and gene therapy solution covers CMC of plasmid and virus for IND filing as well as clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. In terms of plasmid service, ProBio supports the most clinical approvals for CGT drugs including mRNA vaccines, CAR-T in China. Position Summary
GenScript Singapore is seeking a Procurement Specialist who has specialized know-how and solid work experience in Indirect and Service procurement.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Sourcing
- Support vendor sourcing, price comparison, contract negotiation etc. to meet APAC office requirements on non-production related procurement & services.
- Drive year-on-year purchase cost optimization targets
- Establish cost competitiveness gradually by enriching vendor pool and developing strategic partners
Vendor Management
- Monitor key vendors’ performance by standardized KPI tool and timely alert for any KPI target misses, request for root cause analysis and track improvement actions taken by related vendor(s)
- Organize QBR (Quarterly Business Review) with key vendors to go through price & spending, PO status, KPI result, etc topics to engage key vendors on performance improvemen
Purchase Operation
- Transfer Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Order in SAP and post PO timely to relevant vendors
- Track & trace PO status to ensure On Time Delivery, raise any issues and conduct root cause analysis
- Monitor material & service quality and work with stakeholders and related vendors for any quality issues
Contract Management
- Monitor contract life cycle closely to ensure each milestone is well achieved to avoid any risks caused by contract expiry
- Proper archival and filing of signed contracts in accordance to Corporate Policy
Internal Customer Management
- Set up productive collaboration mechanism and process to ensure stakeholder requirements are well met
- Determine stakeholder user requirements for more accurate RFQ sourcing and price negotiations
Data Base Management
- Maintain vendor, contract, material & price accurately in relevant system or data base to meet compliance, operation quality regulations
Process Optimization
- Setting SOP for new processes
- Optimisation of current systems and processes
Ad-hoc Tasks
- Any other tasks or project assigned by superior
Qualifications
- Degree / Diploma with major in Supply Chain or other Business-related studies
- Min 2 years of procurement experience, especially for non-production procurement (NPP) (indirect & services).
- Experience in contract drafting and software system management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, data analytical skills
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required as the role requires close collaboration with stakeholders in China
- Proficient in MS Office such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
- Proficiency in SAP is required
- Team player with can do attitude, able to work with challenges and open to take on additional roles/ rotation
