Job Summary
As a Solutions Architect, you are responsible for developing and deploying new solutions that have the highest impact to the customer and Pinnacle. The deliverable will be creating & deploying playbooks for Pinnacle’s operations team to utilize. You will work with a pod to ensure the services organization is adequately equipped to implement new service offerings, lessons are learned, and strategic deliverables are effectively delivering customers value.
Job Duties
- Work with Strategic Projects team members to successfully implement solutions to high value new customer problems and create playbooks to ensure operations can consistently and effectively solve the problem in the future.
- Capture, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities to create new playbooks and/or plays that are valuable to the operations organization
- Support the solutions organization to engage with customers to adequately communicate the methodology surrounding new service offerings, gain customer buy in, and deliver value to the customer. This may include building of sales materials, training, or customer facing sales support.
- Utilize quantitative methodologies to effectively solve high impact customer problems in a scalable manner.
- Recognize when a new skill is required to adequately solve a problem, rapidly learn the required skill, and communicate learnings to appropriate team members
- Travel domestically and internationally to customer sites when necessary
- Stay up-to-date on the latest data science, engineering, and software capabilities to influence and improve overall value provided by Pinnacle solutions
- Ensure playbooks use technology/tools that will create efficiencies within project teams
- Champion a value centric, data driven culture to project teams and customers
- Engage and collaborate with all appropriate business functions to ensure problems are well defined and solutions meet critical requirements.
Accountabilities/Results/Success for this role
- Develop playbooks that allow for scalable execution & sale of new service offerings
- Develop technology base solutions allow for scalable execution & sale of new service offerings
- Empower service team members to own these solutions and the core concepts behind them
- Reinforce a data driven culture to our service team
- Guide service teams through upcoming pilot projects showcasing new solutions and technologies
Required Qualifications/Skills/Competencies
- 5+ years of reliability/implementation experience
- Proficiency in one or more of the following (preferably several)
- PCMS
- APM
- SQL
- Python
- SAP
- Maximo
- PI
- Power BI
- Ability to adequately communicate technical requirements to both technical & non-technical stakeholders
- Project Management experience
- Ability to self-manage
- Understanding of holistic maintenance and reliability practices (best practices preferred)
- Understanding of data driven culture building
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or software engineering preferred
