About the Role:

The Principal Sales Engineer – Technology Specialists Group (TSG) serves as the technical expert and trusted advisor for the Arctic Wolf endpoint security products. This role is dedicated to supporting field teams, customers, and partners to realize the full value of the endpoint security offering through expertise in technical solutioning, Proof of Concept (POC) engagements, and collaboration across teams.
This position requires deep technical knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive success through technical enablement and direct customer engagement.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

Technical Leadership and Customer Engagement

  • Act as the go-to technical expert for the endpoint security product, providing mentorship and support to SEs, Sales, Customer Success, and Partner teams.
  • Lead and support Proof of Concept (POC) engagements, ensuring best practices are applied and customer success is achieved.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations and assist in designing demo environments to showcase the value of the endpoint security solution.

Training and Enablement

  • Facilitate training sessions to enable internal teams and channel partners to effectively position and deploy the endpoint security product.
  • Contribute to the development of resources and tools that enhance team effectiveness.

Evangelism and Collaboration

  • Participate in webinars, trade shows, and field marketing events to promote the endpoint security product.
  • Actively monitor internal communication channels to provide timely support and share knowledge across teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to provide field-driven feedback to influence product direction.

Key Skills

  • Deep knowledge of and hands-on experience with endpoint security technologies such as EDR, XDR, EPP, and associated solutions, including strong familiarity with malware and threat actor Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
  • Extensive expertise in conducting POCs, including planning, configuration, best practices, stakeholder management, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of OS internals (Windows/Mac/Linux) and IT infrastructure components such as Networking, Identity Management, and Cloud Services.
  • Proven ability to articulate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of cybersecurity experience in a customer-facing role as a Sales Engineer, with 3+ years focused on endpoint security solutions.
  • Extensive experience leading POCs, including hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with the channel ecosystem and enabling partner sales and technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated success in mentoring and enabling cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of driving technical success in a sales engineering role.
