Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector (NGDS) is currently seeking a Principal Contract Administrator to join the Lifecycle Sustainment & Modernization Solutions Operating Unit. This position requires advanced knowledge of DOD Contracting, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player, proactive, will possess good analytical skills, will demonstrate problem-solving skills, and will be detail-oriented.
The preferred location for this position is onsite at a Northrop Grumman facility: Oklahoma City, OK, McLean, VA, St. Augustine, FL, Sierra Vista, AZ, Huntsville, AL, Linthicum, MD, etc.
Responsibilities:

Interfaces with customers and business partners, conducting proposal preparation (specifically for acquisitions requiring certified cost and pricing data), contract negotiation, and contract administration

Examines proposal requirements and estimates, prepares bids, analyzes terms and conditions to evaluate risk, accuracy, and completeness to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications

Processes contractual documentation and reports, advises management of contractual rights and obligations, compiles and analyzes data, and maintains historical information

Facilitates proper shipment, billing, and payment collection for deliveries, interfacing with DCMA or customer as required via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF)

Prepares weekly and monthly reports and maintains the contracts databases in the Corporate Contracts Management System (CMS)
Basic Qualifications:
-
Must have high school diploma or GED with a minimum of ten years prior relevant experience; will also consider a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of six years prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with a minimum of one year prior relevant experience

Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance

Prior Contract Administration experience

Self-starter with excellent analytical and communication skills, the ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize work load

Prior working experience with FAR/DFARS
Salary Range: $72,600.00 - $133,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
