OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

  • The Pricing Analyst is expected to deliver project-related analytics while ensuring that projects are delivered to schedule while maintaining the highest level of quality and value expectations.
  • The resource should be adept in utilizing data & tools (including platforms such as PRU) in leading and facilitating pricing analyses such as list price management, IRP, value-based pricing analyses, etc.
  • The role requires demonstrated pricing experience and ability to collaborate and communicate with different stakeholders to drive processes & collaboration.


ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Work effectively across functions and geographies with a focus on customer needs to achieve goals and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Be the interface & coordinate with LOCs, facilitate LOC>> Regions to approve/disapprove IRP
  • Facilitate, with Pricing and Access Leads, timely input, and validation of key assumptions to run a launch planning analysis: price listing and introduction timelines, expected price and expected unit sales
  • Facilitate Price Change Request through according to the pricing governance process.
  • Perform data quality check in pricing platform for price launch and price change request
  • Run IRP analysis to estimate the cross-country IRP risk and share analysis with relevant stakeholders, closely aligning on request and expected IRP impact
  • Follow up with initiating and impacted countries to validate expected price changes where required
  • Support standard pricing processes such as running pricing models, presenting pricing cases, pricing certificates etc.
  • Answer ad-hoc pricing queries from LOCs or regional teams (e.g. provide list prices information across countries)
  • Ensure data accuracy in collaboration with regions and LOCs and embed data consistency checks
  • Ad-hoc analytic support to GPP team decision making


EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Essential

  • Bachelors / Masters Degree in science, economics, pharmacy, MBA
  • 5+ years' experience in healthcare or life sciences (strong preference for Pricing and Market Access experience)
  • Process oriented and able to build, implement and execute processes on different layers
  • Good project management, multi-tasking skills, analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient in word, excel, powerpoint, analytical tools, basic VBA knowledge & working knowledge of Power BI preferred
  • Good communication & team collaboration skills, comfortable working with an international cross-functional team and stakeholders
