We're Looking For A: Photo Studio Intern to observe and learn from photographers/photo team on how a fast-paced photo studio operates for multiple brands in diverse categories like Pet, Health and Wellness, and Beauty.They will gain hands-on experience in both technical and creative aspects of photography. Please see physical requirements listed. The Photo team values collaboration, efficiency and creativity and seeks an intern that will positively contribute and support the team.
Location: Onsite in Woodland Hills, CA.
What You'll Be Doing:

• Support photography team by providing hands-on help with tasks such as moving lighting and equipment, and organizing props on set as needed.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment before and after shoots.
• Maintain a clean and organized studio space.
• Help prepare in-house products, ingredients, and props before and during photoshoots.
• Assist in wrangling and escorting talent to and from the studio. Interact with on-set talent and brand gurus.
• Supports in ensuring all required props and set pieces are in the studio, assembled, and cleaned before the shoot.
• Assist with the organization and inventory of production supplies and equipment.
• Participate in meetings, taking notes on upcoming photoshoots, and assisting with pre-production tasks.
• Run errands as assigned (printing shotlists, washing studio fabrics, steaming clothes, retrieving packages, etc.)
• Supports team with in-studio research of interior and exterior photoshoot locations for our brands and documenting resources.
• Research external pet talent resources for future casting.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Intern will work collaboratively with all members of our team.
• May perform other duties as assigned in support of the overall success of the company and photo studio

Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't tick ALL of these boxes.):

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be comfortable working with animals on set. Must also be comfortable handling raw meat and a variety of other foods.
• Students commencing or completing Junior or Senior year of their undergraduate program or students enrolled in a graduate-degree program
• Passion or interest in Photography, Photography Studio Operations
• Basic knowledge of photography, shooting photography, photography cameras, and lighting (preferred)
• Strong organizational skills
• Posses strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Solution-Oriented
• Enthusiastic self-starter
• Ability to take direction, prioritize, multitask, and problem solve
• Interest in or experience with Professional Photography and Photography Production
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Actively seeks feedback with department members to continuously improve your skills and knowledge
• Positive individual that can easily collaborate and work through feedback
• Encouraged to share ideas and contribute to creative concepts

The base salary range is $17-$20
