Why do we need you? Well, we are looking for a People Operations Admin to join our People team who will bring their strong organization & communication skills to compliment their stellar administrative abilities. You will report to the Senior Manager, People Operations and will be responsible for acting as the primary point of contact for the company People inbox & People Help Center as well as provide administrative support to the People Operations team.
A day in the life of a People Operations Administrator at Calendly
On a typical day, you will be working on:
- HR Inbox & People Help Center: Answering, actioning and / or routing inquiries that come in through the company’s main HR inbox, actioning & routing People Help Center tickets
- Workday & People Systems: Enter in a high volume of Workday transactions; design and run Workday reports and analytics; perform HRIS data integrity audits; serve as an administrator & assist in optimizing processes for people tech systems
- Administrative Projects: People operations administrative projects & audits (such as employee file audits, I-9 audits & other admin-related projects)
- Administrative Daily Duties: Daily administrative duties to keep the People Operations team running, including I-9s, onboarding and offboarding support, creating severances, managing files, file merges, filling out unemployment claims, completing verifications of employment & more
- Other duties as assigned: including stop-drop-and-roll tasks and projects
- Cross-train: Train with People Ops peers & provide backup coverage as needed
What do we need from you?
- 2-3+ years of experience in HR or related roles + Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR advanced degree without experience OR equivalent work experience
- Bonus: experience with V-lookups and mail merges
- Positive ‘can-do’ attitude; ability to ask for help when needed; willingness to learn
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

The ranges listed below are the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change.
Calendly takes a number of factors into consideration when determining an employee’s starting salary, including relevant experience, relevant skills sets, interview performance, location/metropolitan area, and internal pay equity.
Base salary is just one component of Calendly’s total rewards package. All full-time (30 hours/week) employees are also eligible for our Quarterly Corporate Bonus program (or Sales incentive), equity awards, and competitive benefits.
Calendly uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location, or the onsite building location if hybrid, to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current geographic zones are as follows:
- Tier 1: San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA, New York City, NY
- Tier 2: Chicago, IL, Austin, TX, Denver, CO, Boston, MA, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, PA, Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, Miami, FL, and all other cities in CA.
- Tier 3: All other locations not in Tier 1 or Tier 2

$81,600—$110,400 USD
Tier 2 Salary
$74,800—$101,200 USD
Tier 3 Salary
$68,000—$92,000 USD
