As the International Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the International Payroll Director in the oversight and administration of payroll operations across multiple countries and regions. Your primary focus will be on ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing, maintaining payroll data integrity, and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
This role requires a strong understanding of payroll regulations, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to navigate complex payroll scenarios across different jurisdictions.
This role involves payroll processing with Third Party Vendors, maintaining Sox Controls and Payroll Checks, ensuring tax compliance, and addressing employee payroll-related enquiries.
Role & Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Payroll Processing:

Oversee the timely and accurate processing of monthly and semi-monthly payroll for all employees, including starters, leavers and those with changes in the pay period.

Ensure all variable payments and deductions e.g. bonuses, overtime, allowances, etc. are accurately calculated and processed.

Manage the payrolling on benefits in kind, bonus exchange into pension and the salary exchange of relevant benefits.

Conduct monthly payroll analysis for final approval, identify and resolve any discrepancies.

Stay updated with payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements for each jurisdiction.

Collaborate with local teams, External Payroll Vendors, and HR teams to ensure seamless payroll delivery.

Review and validate payroll inputs, including employee data, timesheets, benefits, and deductions, for accuracy and compliance.
System and Process Improvements:

Identify opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

Manage the Vendor’s payroll systems set up and compliance ensuring all statutory and legislation’s updates and changes are implemented correctly.

Support in the development and implement payroll policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data security.
Year End and Payroll Systems

Coordinate year-end payroll processes, including tax reporting, annual statements, and compliance filings for each country.

Support on the Implementation of any payroll system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Audit and Reconciliation:

Conduct periodic audits to ensure the accuracy of payroll data and resolve discrepancies.

Reconcile payroll data with general ledger accounts and prepare payroll summaries for accounting purposes.

Ensure proper documentation of all payroll transactions, adjustments, and records for compliance and auditing purposes.

Maintain organised payroll files and ensure accurate record-keeping for tax and audit purposes.

Prepare for, and collaborate in, all internal and external audits of payroll processes.
Employee Support:

Respond to payroll-related enquiries from employees, providing clear and timely resolution.

Handle confidential and sensitive payroll information with discretion and in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications:
-
Proven experience as a Payroll administrator or similar role, with a focus on supporting payroll operations across multiple countries and regions.

knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements for various jurisdictions.

Experience working with international payroll service providers and managing relationships with external vendors.

Knowledge of Workday would be of advantage.
