Job Overview
Contextual AI is looking for a Partner Development Manager (PDM) to join its founding GTM partnership team. This team is responsible for building and growing strategic relationships and product integrations with CSPs, ISVs, and GSIs to drive sales.
The PDM should be a subject matter expert on AI industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape, as well as an expert on Contextual AI’s RAG 2.0 platform. They should be able to clearly articulate the joint value proposition to partners’ technical, marketing, sales, and executive teams. Additionally, the PDM should be able to create business plans and execute campaigns that align to partners' products, sales priorities, and marketing initiatives.
The PDM will listen closely to customer feedback to identify joint use cases and product integrations that drive the adoption of Contextual AI offering through our partner ecosystem. They will also collaborate with external and internal product and engineering teams to identify product integrations customized to the strengths of each partner's platform. Lastly, the PDM will create content to showcase partner integrations to partner account teams, on customer calls and webinars, and at tradeshows and events.
What you’ll do:
- Establish and grow strategic partnerships, collaborate on GTM, and account mapping.
- Provide training and support to GSI, RSI, and SI partners, collaborating on enablement materials and GTM activities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to partners, build relationships with executives and sales leaders, and train their account teams.
- Represent Contextual AI and partner solutions to customers, ensuring their success.
- Distill feedback from partners and customers to help improve Contextual AI’s platform by working directly with internal and partner product and engineering teams.
- Act as the “Voice of the Partner” - regularly engaging them on status calls, educating on product roadmap, and managing escalations, while influencing product roadmap to reflect partner priorities.
Ideal candidate qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, data, cloud, and related technologies, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working at enterprise SaaS companies in business development, sales, partnership management or related AI-focused roles.
- Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to demonstrate professional polish and a high level of credibility when speaking with executives and engineers.
- Self-starter with ability to operate independently and at high-velocity, focused on customer needs.
Location: Mountain View, CA
Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $130,000 - $250,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
