Bankruptcy/Litigation Paralegals work with lawyers both inside and outside the Department to provide the highest quality of legal assistance to our clients.  The person shall possess a mastery of technical and administrative skills, assume responsibility with minimal supervision, exercise initiative and judgment to make decisions within the scope of their assigned authority, work individually and as part of a team, and practice collaboration with firm employees in all officesThis position is hybrid and offers a work schedule of 3 days a week in the office.

Your Role:

As a Paralegal  within our Litigation team, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Organizes and reviews documents, including identification, redacting, coordinating photocopying/scanning, and proofreading.

  • Utilizes litigation support software such as Relativity and Opus2 to search for data and organizes information for attorneys.

  • Reviews transcripts, expert reports and exhibits for specific references; prepares digests and/or summaries as requested by attorneys.

  • Conducts factual research: culls relevant information from a variety of resources such as newspapers, magazines, libraries, case documents, trade associations, etc.

  • Prepares witness binders containing interview memos, digests and relevant

Required Experience:

Four-year college degree preferred, or significant relevant work experience in place of a college degree. Prior paralegal experience and/or paralegal certificate preferred. Previous experience working in a law firm or legal environment preferred. Able to multitask without loss of efficiency or accuracy. Demonstrated technology skills including software applications. Ability to exercise independent judgment, reason logically and make sound decisions. Regular and predictable attendance is a core requirement of this position and the ability to work beyond the standard scheduled hours, as needed.

The salary range for this position is from $90,000 - $110,000 depending upon experience and location.
