This role will leverage expertise in operations, process management, and project management to design, implement, and enhance a standardized, optimized operating model (people, processes, and technology) across our network of teaching centres, to make a meaningful impact on global education. It will ensure that new centres and their staff adopt these best practices and continuously seek improvements in efficiency and service levels. It plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient mobilisation of new centres, their alignment to the target operating model, and their ongoing operational excellence.
A proactive leadership role which manages communications with key stakeholders, driving initiatives and projects to successful completion. The ISC Optimisation Manager will monitor progress, uphold compliance, and provide regular updates to the business. This role requires building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at various levels and locations, including external university partners and business collaborators. It will also create networks within the ISCs to foster knowledge sharing and best practices.
ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Development of Operating Model: Drive the development and implementation of a standardised operating model across the UKI portfolio, including optimised processes, data management, systems, reporting, and governance.
  • New Centre Mobilisation: Collaborate closely with the Business Transformation team to ensure that new centre mobilisation projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and manage effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the effective delivery of initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, ensuring the operating model evolves with best practices and technology advancements.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and manage data analytics frameworks to track operational efficiency, service levels, and centre performance, providing insights to drive decision-making.
  • Resource Coordination: Allocate and coordinate internal and third-party resources to ensure the successful delivery of initiatives and projects.
  • Project Planning: Develop and manage detailed and integrated project plans that coordinate activities across existing centres and those being mobilised.
  • Scope and Change Management: Manage and control changes to scope, schedule, and costs to maintain project alignment.
  • Risk and Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations and that quality standards are consistently met across all centres.
  • Reporting: Measure the performance of initiatives using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, and escalate issues as needed.

ABOUT YOU

  • Agile Methodology Experience: Experience with Agile methodologies, enabling iterative improvements and adaptability during project implementation.
  • Education Sector Experience: Experience in the education sector would be highly advantageous.
  • Change Leadership: Expertise in managing change initiatives, with a record of building commitment among teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong Project Management Skills: Proven track record in managing and delivering complex projects in an international corporate environment.
  • Operational Expertise: Demonstrated experience in defining and shaping operational models, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Proficiency in Methodologies: Familiarity with Prince2 or similar project management methodologies.
  • Technology Skills: Experienced in using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint/Microsoft Teams, or similar knowledge management systems
