Senior Operations Planning Specialist at Element Fleet Mexico is a key driver of operational excellence, responsible for designing and executing high-impact strategies that enhance product performance, operational efficiency, and customer experience. This role goes beyond process optimization, requiring strategic leadership, cross-functional influence, and data-driven decision-making to shape the future of Element’s products and services.
The ideal candidate is an expert in business intelligence, operational analytics, and process engineering, with the ability to lead projects across multiple teams and external partners. This position plays a critical role in identifying growth opportunities, optimizing cost structures, and ensuring best-in-class service delivery.
Strategic Operational Optimization
- Identify scalability and efficiency opportunities within operations, supplier management, and customer experience.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve vehicle acquisition, maintenance, collateral, financial performance, and overall fleet management.
- Lead high-impact transformation projects that enhance operational effectiveness and profitability.
- Ensure continuous improvement through structured monitoring, analysis, and performance benchmarking.
Advanced Business Intelligence & Decision Support
- Design and develop sophisticated analytics tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to measure and improve KPIs.
- Deliver high-level insights to senior management, supporting data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Predict market trends and operational risks, proactively mitigating inefficiencies and driving long-term sustainability.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Innovation
- Act as a thought leader, influencing operational strategy across departments, including Finance, IT, and Customer Experience.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to product owners, ensuring alignment between business goals and operational capabilities.
- Lead key product enhancements and process automation initiatives to modernize fleet management operations.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, driving continuous innovation and competitive advantage.
- Suggest and implement new strategies to enhance overall operation performance.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Innovation, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operational analytics, business intelligence, or process optimization (up from 3-4 years).
- Proven track record of leading transformation initiatives in complex, cross-functional environments.
Technical & Strategic Competencies:
- Advanced expertise in Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations.
- Process automation and operational technology implementation experience.
- Ability to influence at all levels of the organization, from frontline teams to senior executives.
- Professional working proficiency in English (mandatory).
