CoinFlip is looking for an Operations Manager, based in Mexico City. This role will be responsible for overseeing the installation, service, and maintenance of our network of devices located in multiple regions. This role will provide onsite training, support, and remote resourcing to our vendors for our growing field of devices. You will support the running and maintenance of this network of devices and help to implement processes to reduce issues and improve uptime. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for key vendors, hosts, and be responsible for providing great support and fostering strong working relationships.

Additionally, the Operations Manager will play a key role in supporting the strategy definition and execution to increase volume, revenue, new users, and recurrent users in Mexico. This includes collaborating closely with leadership to align operational processes with business objectives and drive sustainable growth.
This role requires someone who is 100% hands-on, feels comfortable navigating in an entrepreneurial arena, and is passionate about driving crypto adoption in Mexico.

The Operations Manager will report directly to the Mexico Country Director.

Responsibilities:

• Help design and implement new vendor processes to optimize current operational setup to improve product rollout.

• Oversee relationships with external vendors, hosts, and service providers, and ensure service level agreements are met.

• Work with our Logistics team to ensure the supply chain is resourced and optimized.

• Become a SME on our systems and devices to support our teams and devices in each region.

• Provide device setup, maintenance, and commission training to our vendors and partners.

• Provide remote and occasional in-person device troubleshooting and repair assistance.

• Improve target KPIs such as device uptime and reduce MTTR.

• Support the strategic planning and execution efforts aimed at increasing volume, revenue, and user base growth.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to align operational objectives with broader business goals.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Electromechanical or Industrial Engineering.

• 3-5 years of experience in operations management.

• Relevant knowledge about cryptocurrency is required.

• Ability to speak and comprehend English.

• Broad range of computer/IT skills; knowledge of computer networking desirable.

• Background in POS, cash handling, or payment systems is a distinct advantage.

• Interest in and knowledge of crypto and blockchain technology.

• Passion for crypto adoption in Mexico.

• Willingness to travel to support growth across Mexico.

• Willing to be flexible to support business needs and grow within the role.

• Valid driving license a plus.

Base Salary Range: 815,000 - 900,000 Mexican Pesos
