Position Title: Operator II
Reports to: Production Management
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Location: Philadelphia, PA
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Operate all equipment as assigned, proficient at all Operator I functions.
- Maintain and stock components necessary for production rooms.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor fill operation. Assist line personnel as needed.
- Understands and performs the start-up operation and shutdown procedures for each piece of equipment as assigned.
- Clean machines.
- Move items for QA and Production Coordinators
- Move components to and from warehouse locations as needed.
- Keeps room staging area safe, neat, and orderly.
- Maintain and stock components/materials for assigned room(s).
- Remove finished goods, components, scrap pallets, and empty bulk drums from rooms as needed.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Reports to: Production Superintendent(s) or their designee.
Supervises: None
Education or Equivalent: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Speak, read and comprehend English
- Demonstrate the ability to operate the majority of production machines
- Ability to obtain power equipment certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
