What’s the role

The Onshore Operations Support role provides vital support to the Offshore production team whilst interfacing with the Onshore organization. In particular, the role works closely with offshore operations teams, surveillance and maintenance to ensure preparedness of asset priorities for execution from an Operations perspective and to drive alignment.

What you’ll be doing

Your accountabilities include the following:

  • Proactively manage the interface between Operations, Planning and Maintenance to ensure Operations work preparedness.

  • Drive the development of Standard and Temporary Operating Procedures related to prepare for maintenance and return from service.

  • Supporting the Prelude Tank RBI maintenance plan

  • Engage with the Offshore operations teams to gather input and drive alignment on scope.

  • Engage with Maintenance activity owners to assist in grouping and prioritization of scope in campaigns.

  • Input to Risk Assessments across various processes including Operational Risk Assessments and Management Of Change.

  • Provide support for operational input to Brownfield reviews including Select Phase review and Constructability HAZIDs.

  • Support the Permit to Work and isolation processes within their level of accountability.

  • Maintain awareness of system performance, reliability and threats to assist in identifying area priorities for execution.

  • Where required, support investigation and follow up to operations HSSE related incidents.

What you bring

The Onshore Operations Support role requires strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.  The span of work covers facility wide Operational activities. The successful candidate should ideally have deep Operations knowledge in at least one of the following four areas: Upstream, LNG, Utilities and Storage & Loading plant sections, and should have experience with Safe Isolation practices.

Skills & Requirements

  • Demonstrated commitment to DE&I and a proven track record in DE&I agenda.

  • Demonstrated core commitment to safety, with effective asset integrity and process safety management held as a core belief.

  • In-depth knowledge of Storage and Loading operations is preferable, inclusive of significant exposure to operating assets.

  • The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Operations preparation for maintenance and return to service planning.

  • The Onshore Operations Support role works by influence rather than authority. The role bridges the onshore and offshore organizations, building both trust and respect. Successful candidates will have a proven record of engagement, influence, integration and delivery.

  • The ability to seek, integrate and implement advice from outside their direct sphere of knowledge (for example from Engineering, HSSE or Supply specialists) is critical to the success of the role.

  • Understands the inter-relations between production units and actively manages the impacts of decisions across the facility.

Candidate may be required to take occasional trips offshore to Prelude FLNG, 5/2 onshore roster. Flexible work options will be considered.
