Lesaffre – Working together to better nourish and protect the planet

Job Description

Preffered location is Prague, however position can be filled in any country within OCEA region where Lesaffre has legal entity.

  • Active involvement in information system projects carried out in OCEA Region
    • Participate in the organization of the projects: planning, find the right resources and skills.
    • Participate in the management of the projects as quality assurance manager, ensuring that consultants as well as the user community perform the necessary actions required to achieve the expected results in good quality.
    • Review the technical / infrastructure set-up for the different projects and advise if necessary.
    • Coordinate with the Global team to ensure resources provided if required.
    • Facilitate the coordination between the different functional areas to make sure that we have the right communication level.
    • Follow-up the system usage (mainly focusing on SAP) to ensure appropriate support provide by the respective support teams and escalations managed.
  • Link between Group IT Direction and subsidiaries IT managers
    • Represent the region in different activities initiated by the global team and ensure the messages are relayed to the subsidiaries.
    • Follow-up that projects initiated by the group are completed on time.
    • Follow-up the responses to escalations, questions, initiatives raised by the subsidiaries are provided by the Global team.
  • Regularly review the state of the information systems in the subsidiaries.
    • Visit yearly the subsidiaries to have an input about the user satisfaction.
    • Support the subsidiaries to select external service provider should the need arise.
  • Focus on cybersecurity
    • Ensure the global security actions are follow on regional level.
    • Initiate and participate in preventive activities.
    • Facilitate the response to security incidents.
  • Support the local business to prepare the yearly budget.

Qualifications

  • Master degree in IT
  • 10 year experience of information system management in an international environment and in industry (food and beverage)
  • High level of understanding of
    • IT/IS governance processes
    • ERP system, including SAP
    • Cybersecurity related topics
  • Fluent in English (mastering other languages is an asset)
  • Strong leadership skills, minimum 5 years managerial experiences
  • Willing to travel in Central & Oriental Europe
