Job Description
As the North America LCS Business Data Analyst, you will analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. You will also identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Also, you will construct forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. You will report to the North America LCS Operational Excellence Manager and have a hybrid schedule working in Mayfield Heights, OH or Milwaukee, WI.
Your Responsibilities:
- Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues as well as directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools. (
- Manage team member requirements and communications and make recommendations for actions derived from the analysis to Leadership
- Manage management requirements and guide them through data discovery and assignment of actions
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelors degree
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- 5+ years of experience
- Experience in data analytics, statistical analysis and data science
- Excel (can write advanced macros), PowerBI, Python, R, SQL and other tools used in data analytics and statistical analysis
- Lean Knowledge
- Working knowledge of PowerBI, SAP CRM, IFS CRM, Quickbase, and other technologies that house data
- Expert in data preparation and cleansing using different/disconnected data sources for analysis
- Competent to query data to find answers and validate hypotheses
- An understanding of statistical methods to analyze data sets and work through them
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations
- Qualified to ensure that data analysis insights are accurate and wont' mislead the audience
