Job Description
Robert Bosch LLC seeks Network Engineer, Sr (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 1800 W. Central Rd., Mt. Prospect, IL 60056.
- Support network architects with implementation and maintenance of company's functional network such as WAN, LAN, intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.
- Collaborate with External vendors to build WAN connection to meet user's requirement or specific needs.
- Communicate with Internal LAN, firewall, datacenter teams to implement different types of network infrastructure.
- Configure and install network hardware and software, make sure all the machines on a network communicate with each other properly.
- Ensure network reliability using monitoring tools.
- Analyze and track incident, change and problem management for day-to-day operations.
- Experience working in a multi-vendors environment.
- Experience working in WAN request for proposal (RFP) process.
- Collaborate with architects to maintain Wide Area Network and prepare for next generation of Wide Area Network (SDWAN).

Qualifications
- This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and five (5) years of experience as a Network Engineer or other occupation involving wireless deployments with multi-vendor environments.
- Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) WAN Technologies and protocols; (2) LAN topology, QoS, Firewall deployment or Datacenter infrastructure; (3) MAN technologies; (4) SmartWan technologies; (5) WAN request for proposal (RFP) process; (6) Cabling implementations (Fiber Optic or Copper (Ethernet); and (7) WLAN deployments, implementation and troubleshooting.
- Telecommuting: Hybrid - 3 days a week work from home.
