The Mission
The Leidos Airborne Maintenance Operations (AMO) delivers mission critical data to our DoD customers through optimized network operations. Leidos maintains and modernizes network operations addressing cybersecurity protocols while supporting worldwide data transportation to ensure timely delivery of processed data to our customers.
Your Main Objective:
Big Picture
-
Create IT plans based on an understanding of the customer’s goals and needs.

Design and architect routed and switched networks to include switches, routers, firewalls, and encryptors.

Provide planning and technical support for network resources and connectivity.
-
Research, evaluate, and stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies including cloud services.

Assist leadership in determining tactical and strategic direction of the organization, including implementation of industry best business practices

Work with others to develop and propose new business and technical opportunities to leadership and the customer.
Day-to-Day
-
Define project scope, plans, and deliverables including cost projections and proposed implementation dates.

Control project requirements, scope, and change management issues.

Ensure baseline configuration of all network assets is documented and configured according to DoD engineering standards.

Operate, troubleshoot, and install network routers and switches.

Maintain 50+ networked computers to include license management and vulnerability management & mitigation.

Develop System Operating Procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting guides

Research, implement, and troubleshoot active directory, group policy, and DNS.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Engineering, or other relevant field and 8+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.

Must possess at least one certification that fulfills IAT Level II requirement and an applicable computing environment certification. Must meet IAT Level III requirements within 6 months of hire. Must possess one of the following certifications: CCNA, Security+ CE, SSCP, GSEC.

Experience operating, troubleshooting, installing network routers and switches.

Experience designing, architecting routed and switched networks.

Experience with the DoD environment.

Experience with NIST-800 Risk Management Framework.

Familiarity with implementing cloud services such as SaaS and IaaS along with SLAs.

Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.

Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
