Molding Operator I

Responsibilities:

• Produce/package/label all products to meet or exceed all quality specifications per shop order, QCIC’s and all other required documents provided.

• Operates various manufacturing and measurement equipment in a safe and orderly manner and notifies Lead/Supervisor when operating problems occur or standards cannot be met.

• Meet or exceed all due dates assigned to the manufacturing shop order.

• Responsible for all products manufactured.

• Understanding of documentation system including reading comprehension, writing and how to complete documents accurately.

• May assist engineering or manufacturing technicians with validation of processes, product and tooling.

• Understand and follow gowning processes and procedures while maintaining a clean and presentable workstation.

Qualifications:

Education/certification:

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and/or related manufacturing experience.

• Level I- 1 year + experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

• Understanding of manufacturing work environment, quality standards and use of hand tools.

• Knowledge of material handling and proper use including labeling.

• Must be able to read and write and understand the English language.

• Prefer knowledge of microscope functionality.

• Basic math and measurement skills.

• Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment.

• Accurate and attention to detail.

Required Knowledge:

• Understanding of manufacturing work environment, quality standards and use of hand tools.

• Must be able to read and write and understand the English language.

• Prefer knowledge of microscope functionality.

Physical Requirements:

• Involves sitting, standing and/or walking, with frequent ability to exert up to 15 pounds of force to move objects and occasionally exert up to 30 pounds of force to move objects.
