The Mexican Spanish Game Linguist role is to translate from English into Mexican Spanish in game content. This role requires excellent language skills, creativity and a passion for Games.
This position is In-house working on a client specific project expected to last 12 months, with potential for longer commitment. The role requires working at our Keywords office for the full duration of the project. Our office is located at Calz. Gral. Mariano Escobedo 218 Mexico City 11320 Mexico. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team focusing on in game content for a leading games publisher.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Translate in game content from English to Mexican Spanish to a high quality standard
- Be responsible for all linguistic aspects of the translations you are assigned to ensure the best possible quality is achieved
- Collaborate with other linguists on the project
- Native level Mexican Spanish speaker
- Passion for games industry
- Educational qualification in linguistics
- Experience in translation, copywriting or linguistics
- Excellent verbal and written linguistic skills both in Mexican Spanish and English
- Must be self-motivated and able to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
