Through a data-driven, customer-centric approach, you contribute to a strong brand and increased sales while maintaining operational excellence and upholding H&M standards.

You will:

  • Propose regional owned and paid media strategies based on the global media framework, integrating regional and local customer and media insights.
  • Define and drive an optimal media mix, maximizing efficiency across paid brand, performance, and owned media channels.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to make informed decisions and adapt strategies to stay competitive.
  • Manage media budget investments, ensuring in-depth analysis and continuous optimization of the media mix.
  • Leverage digital media, analytics tools, and emerging platforms to make data-driven decisions and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving media landscape.
  • Act as the key regional contact for the media agency, steering collaboration to drive performance and impact.
  • Lead and develop a team of media specialists across the region, overseeing both owned and paid media while identifying and recruiting future talents.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders and global teams to align strategies and ensure operational excellence.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Media function drives customer engagement, brand growth, and sales through impactful strategies across paid, performance, and owned channels.

As a Media Manager, you’ll lead and manage regional and local paid, performance, and owned media specialists and their leads while collaborating with media agencies and cross-functional teams in marketing, analytics, and sales to optimize media impact and enhance the customer journey. The Media team is part of the Strategy & Planning team, which also includes CRM, Connection Planners, and Project Managers. In this role, you will report to the Strategy & Planning Manager.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people with…

  • A degree in marketing, communication, or business, or at least 6+ years of experience in marketing and media.
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally in an international environment, managing teams across multiple locations and developing direct reports.
  • Strong strategic and operational marketing expertise with a digital focus.
  • Experience setting and managing large media budgets and working with media agencies.
  • Deep knowledge of building and growing brands and customer bases through traditional and digital media channels.
  • High analytical ability and experience using data to drive decisions.
  • Competence in digital, tech, and omni-channel ways of working (a plus).
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
