This role


The Marketing Technology Manager is responsible for building and managing core marketing technology functions across: CRM, CDP, and messaging as email, whatsapp, SMS/RCS, chatbots for sales and support as zendesk, talkdesk and AI-powered chatbot platforms; by understanding clearly business use cases, and be able to identify appropriate tools, process and operations improvements to support automation and scale of our marketing campaigns - both for acquisition, retention, referral, and lifecycle campaigns; as well what kind of automations, and data systems are necessary for growth campaigns. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure sales and revenue KPIs are achieved through implementing effective automations for marketing acquisition, outbound campaign, chatbot and lifecycle tools.
  • Build sales and support chatbots .
  • Monitor tools and platform quality including e.g. up-time, accurate delivery, performance.
  • Ensure key campaign metrics are measured and reported correctly.
  • Establish and monitor quality standards for marketing campaigns and sales teams.
  • Standardize the use of automation and customer relationship management tools in all countries in which we operate.
  • Control, approve and contract support tools.
  • Identify opportunities for cost and efficiency optimization in sales and marketing channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or studies in a field related to marketing, communication, or advertising.
  • 7+ years of experience in the customer support area, leading multicultural and remote teams, in start-up environments building new systems and processes, ideally with experience in revenue operations, growth hacking teams, or marketing technology operations.
  • Expertise in building sales-oriented chatbots and flows, and setting up automations through no-code tools, webhooks and/or directly working with APIs.
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM tools such as customer.io, braze, Zendesk, Talkdesk, automation tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL, python, use of BI tools inside CRM and automations tools.
  • Desirable knowledge CS, webdesign, CRO, SEO, support tools that use artificial intelligence.
  • Knowledge of calculation methods for main c.x indicators as well as renowned performance models for the market in which Payjoy operates.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to understand and solve use cases from first principles, including comfort with understanding new tools and systems rapidly. 
  • Ease and confidence in making complex decisions.
  • Knowledge of risk management models and matrices.
