The expected salary range for this position is $19.33 - $23.28. Overview
Compassion’s Marketing Insights team is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our summer internship program in Colorado Springs. This role offers hands-on experience in consumer research and insights, working on strategic marketing projects that shape Compassion’s engagement with supporters.
As an intern, you will:

Code and analyze key marketing content to understand how Compassion’s “Reasons to Believe” themes impact supporter engagement.

Evaluate supporter surveys, helping to develop best practices and improve long-term research impact.
This is a great opportunity for a student who loves data, storytelling, and strategic thinking and wants to gain experience in consumer insights and marketing.
What will you do?

Learn from experienced professionals in the Marketing Insights, and Content and Creative teams, gaining a deeper understanding of how marketing drives Compassion’s mission.

Analyze marketing content performance using tools like Sprout Social, Google Analytics, and Salesforce, identifying patterns and insights that inform strategy.

Assist in presenting findings by helping to create insight-driven reports and narratives alongside the Marketing Insights Director.

Support survey research efforts, reviewing and organizing survey questions to create a standardized question bank and best practices guide for long-term use.

Contribute to strategic projects by preparing documents, presentations, or communications as needed.

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Research, Digital Media, or related field.

Oriented toward strategy and identifying the practical implications of insights

Demonstrates passion for both data and storytelling

Previous experience with Sprout Social or Google Analytics a plus

Ability to work from Compassion’s HQ in Colorado Springs Monday - Friday from 8-5pm during the duration of the internship. Host homes are available for housing and your own transportation is required.
