We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our Global Customer Enablement (GCE) team. The successful candidate will support the team with its existing customer base through fostering strong customer loyalty and help drive growth with innovative programs that create demand and grow the business.

The key responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):

  • Developing and maintaining GCE marketing profile on internal and external platforms
  • Assisting in the overall design, development and implementation of marketing materials and activities(Brochures, presentations, eblasts, etc)
  • Supporting marketing and communications activities with Key Accounts
  • Creating digital assets for customer use and support global roll-out
  • Preparing internal communications as needed
  • Liaising with internal commercial representatives in various countries to provide assistance in deploying marketing materials and activities
  • Liaising and managing performance of third-party contractors and suppliers to ensure high quality outcomes
  • Supporting event management as required
  • Creating video and image assets as needed
  • Actively participating with the Customer Enablement team in strategic development

The key requirements for this role include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, a Business Degree or similar
  • Previous experience in a marketing/business support or communications role would be beneficial
  • Knowledge in ophthalmic lens products and manufacturing processes would be beneficial
  • Knowledge within the optical / pharmaceutical / medical / health industries also beneficial
  • Ability to organise and manage multiple projects and set priorities to deliver results on time
  • Ability to deal with people at all levels of an organisation, locally and internationally
  • Ability to translate and relay technical information
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a multi-cultural and multidisciplinary environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Honesty and openness in communication
  • Display a creative nature and ability to use initiative
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Adobe Suites (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Adhere to safety standards and requirements and report any concerns
  • Available for international travel, as needed
  • Flexibility for after-hours work for international collaboration, including meetings.
