Purpose Statement
sa.global are seeking a talented and dynamic Marketing Assistant to support the Head of Marketing for the UK & Ireland region. In this role, you will work across various marketing activities, including project management, content creation, social media, email marketing, and event coordination. The ideal candidate will have strong digital literacy, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit. You will help implement marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement for sa.global.

Position Overview
Direct reporting is to the Head of Marketing UK&I. There are no line management responsibilities for this role.

Candidates must be based in the United Kingdom. Normal working hours apply to this role (9am to 5.30pm).

Areas of Responsibility

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage and grow the company’s LinkedIn presence through engaging social media content.
  • Support email marketing efforts, including content creation, execution, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Provide assistance in event coordination, working with third-party vendors to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Conduct data analysis to track the performance of campaigns and optimize marketing activities.
  • Help create compelling content for blogs, newsletters, social media posts, and more.
  • Manage marketing co-op funding initiatives and assist in tracking ROI.
  • Assist in developing and executing internal communication strategies to ensure alignment and engagement across marketing and sales teams.
  • Support the Head of Marketing with creative tasks, brainstorming ideas and producing marketing materials.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong digital literacy with proficiency in tools within Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and email marketing software (D365 CE preferable)
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience in social media management (particularly LinkedIn) and content creation.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data to inform marketing strategies.
  • Experience with event coordination, including liaising with third-party vendors.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for developing engaging marketing content.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and familiarity with design and editing software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) (advantageous)
