Marketing Assistant Intern
Salary: £12 per hour rising to £12.21 in April plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Start Date: March/April 2025
Duration: 1 Year Placement
Candidate shortlisting will take place on w/c 3rd March and assessment days will take place between w/c 10th March.

Internship Programme;
During this programme, we'll help you develop your practical and behavioural skills and support you in gaining the technical and professional knowledge required for you to take the next step and succeed in your career.
What you'll be doing;

Assist in managing the bid process by organising and filing tender documents, emails, and clarifications

Serve as the primary point of contact for managing and streamlining our inbox processes
-
Set up new tender opportunities in our CRM system (Salesforce) and project management tool (Monday)

Coordinate with Business Development leads to ensure timely responses to tenders and clarifications
-
Maintain and update our digital filing system, ensuring all documents are properly organised and accessible

Monitor and update various procurement portals, keeping our company information current

Support the completion of Stage 1 documents such as Selection Questionnaires (SQs)

Assist in the submission of proposals, ensuring compliance with tender requirements

Help maintain our team calendar, tracking important deadlines and tasks

Contribute to the overall efficiency of the bid process by managing administrative tasks and supporting the wider bid team
What we're looking for;

Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, English, or Communications

Good understanding of Google Suite

Good communication skills, an analytical mindset and attention to detail

Eagerness to learn and develop professional skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

Proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to take initiative

Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively

Interest in business development and the bidding process
