We are looking now for a Manager, Supply Chain Development to join our Communication Papers Supply Chain Management Team. The position is located at UPM Business HUB in Wrocław, Poland.

Supply Chain for Communication Papers has gone through major organizational development steps in recent years leading to a well-structured organisation of professionals in fields of Order Management (customer facing), Production Planning and Logistics. Going forward the developer will be key in advancing our organisation in process maturity and efficiency, where also AI will be important. – Christian Thaler, Vice President, Supply Chain

What you will do

  • Support the Supply Chain Management Team in implementing the strategies and goals by ensuring well aligned and prioritized process improvement initiatives

  • Be responsible contact person and consultant for Supply Chain, Sales, Operations and our Strategy & Development organization

  • Participate and lead regional and global projects

  • Execute a wide range of tasks and initiatives in the area of process development covering our entire system landscape (e.g., eOrder, Sell It, Plan It, OTM, GMES)

  • Take a leading role in developing and implementing required improvement needs related to the entire process chain, systems, and the organization

  • Lead and co-ordinate the end-user support organization within Supply Chain, ensure alignment with all other parts of our end-user support model

Who you are

  • You bring to the table several years of professional experiences in practical process work related to supply chain processes

  • You have experiences in IT project work and are knowledgeable on above mentioned systems

  • You take pride in working on process improvements in a matrix organisation with various stakeholders

  • You work in an independent and structured, fact-based way with great outcomes orientation

  • You are highly resilient, versatile, and mobile (as travelling is required)

  • You have great verbal and written communication skills in English; other languages are considered beneficial
