Position Summary
The Inside Sales Manager will be managing the day-to-day activities and sales results of a channel inside sales team within the broader inside sales organization.
In this fast-paced role, you will lead a team of proactive outbound inside salespeople whose focus is to generate sales and increased market penetration for CDK’s variety of products.
Remote position - can live anywhere in the continental US
Responsibilities
- On a daily basis, taking a metrics-oriented and strategic selling approach to managing and coaching with their direct reports.
- Leading execution of monthly sales targets and initiatives assigned to you and your sales team.
- Proactively manage and act as an escalation point for accounts within assigned sales teams.
- Acting as a resource for current campaigns and projects as requested by various channel partners in CDK’s Sales and Marketing departments.
- Building relationships with various channel partners to promote teamwork and collaboration to drive sales.
- Assist in training of New Hires on established sales processes.
- Development of identified members into future potential sales manager candidates.
- Weekly coaching with team members to continue positive momentum toward sales goals.
- Taking a hands-on approach to problem solving the challenges that face the team.
- Accurate reporting and sales forecasting of team to the Senior Director of Sales.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of SaaS Sales Management experience.
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in an inside /outside sales role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced time management skills
- Microsoft Office Skills, Salesforce.com proficient
- Ability to provide sound feedback and instruction to team members on a consistent basis
- SaaS Sales experience, specifically to understand CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools (preferably Salesforce.com) for lead follow-up, sale cycle disposition, campaign management, pipeline management, forecasting and lost opportunity tracking
- Strong skills in keeping/maintaining comprehensive and accurate notes in the CRM system
- Excellent written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
- Self-starting capability with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and deal with pressure
- The ability to sell, negotiate, persuade and influence
- A general knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Automotive industry experience preferred.
Salary = $95,000 + Commissions
CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.
