Manager, Expense Productivity Reporting

The role includes, but is not limited, to the following: 

• Support to Senior Manager, Expenses and Productivity across the Product annual reporting cycle, including budget setting, plan loads, monthly actuals reporting, forecast submissions, plan transfers and financial processes including manual journals and reconciliations; 

• Production of analysis and insight to drive Product performance and strategy; 

• Answering ad hoc queries from the Product Finance team and Product business; 

• Building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders; 

• Actively contribute to process improvement, simplification and cross skilling across the RBS Finance team; 

• Promote a customer-focused high performing team culture, including ongoing knowledge transfer of the drivers of the retail banking portfolio; 

• Contribute to team culture and an inclusive work environment; and undertake any other tasks assigned by the Manager of this role that can be competently and safely performed 
   

Other qualities you may possess include 

• Financial Services experience in a banking or services/product environment is preferable; 

• Strong experience in a financial performance management; 

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills; 

• High degree of commercial acumen; 

• Excel and PowerPoint technical skills [Intermediate]; 

• Results driven; 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and 

• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deliverables 

• Tertiary Qualifications – hold a tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or an equivalent business-related discipline 

• Accounting qualification – CPA or CA – commenced or completed
