We are looking for a customer obsessed, results oriented Finance leader to join our Digital Finance team.

The Manager- Digital Finance will be responsible for leading a team focused on supporting Digital Support & Production (Customer Care, Digital Fraud, Photo Studios). This role is well suited for problem solvers who use intellectual curiosity, strong partnerships, and overall business knowledge to deal with ambiguity and complexity. Success in the role requires an individual who can stand alone, communicate, and collaborate effectively with business unit leaders and cross functional digital partners that will help drive JWN objectives and key results in a matrixed environment.

*This role is Hybrid Seattle, Washington- you will be required to be in office 3 days per week at our downtown Seattle location. We are not offering relocation for this role at this time.

A day in the life…

  • Manage reporting and insights for Care, Fraud, and Photo Studios in support of the Digital weekly business review (WBR) and other key operational and financial reviews
  • Partner with business leaders to develop plans and forecasts for the digital support and production space – providing strategic vision, weighing choices & tradeoffs, and aligning operational priorities – that yield desired financial outcomes.
  • Manage the Digital Support & Production budget, tracking expenses, and making recommendations for adjustments as needed to align with business goals.
  • Build and develop your finance team by providing clear vision, prioritization, and
    support to achieve business objectives in addition to individual career development goals
  • Drive continuous improvement across reporting, processes, and tools – including the advancement of Anaplan models and reporting data in the Nordstrom Analytical Platform (NAP)
  • Collaborate with digital leaders on ad-hoc, strategic needs – through use of financial modeling tools and analytical techniques – to improve business decision making.

You own this if you have….

  • Bachelor’s degree (finance or economics preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in finance with scope and accountability progression (including 2+ years of people leadership experience)
  • Team leader with a passion for teaching early and mid-career professionals
  • Proven knowledge of digital platforms, customer behavior, end to end business implications, best practices, tools, and project management
  • Able to work on and run multiple projects with varying levels of data, information, and timelines
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience in driver-based model building that is scalable and flexible
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite including MS Excel – advanced modeling, formulas, functions
  • Anaplan, Tableau and SQL knowledge a plus

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $90,000 - $175,000 AnnuallyThis position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
