Team Rubicon (TR) is seeking a Manager, Development Operations to join our Development team! The Manager, Development Operations will oversee and optimize all fundraising and engagement platforms to ensure accurate data management and insightful analytics, driving strategic fundraising initiatives. The position requires strong leadership & project management skills, leading a team focused on gift processing, reporting, compliance, and management of donations. The Manager, Development Operations will also lead the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to enhance donor engagement and support organizational sustainability through comprehensive reporting.

This position reports to TR’s Director, Development Operations and preferably based at TR’s National Headquarters (LAHQ) in Los Angeles, CA, but can be based remote anywhere within the United States.
Duties:
- Lead the strategic management and continuous improvement of TR’s donor database, ensuring data integrity, best practices, and innovation.
- Lead and manage a team focused on databased management efforts relating to revenue generation, including monthly pipeline meetings, and fundraising analysis.
- Provide strategic leadership in project management and optimization of all fundraising and engagement platforms, including scoping projects for future systems to increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with Director of Development Operations to build and translate a strategic vision for technology across platforms from a fundraising perspective.
- Develop and implement innovative analytic solutions to measure and enhance fundraising performance, including creating adaptable and user-friendly dashboards that allow leaders to continuously evaluate performance and formulate strategic action plans.
- Produce reports and presentations that effectively communicate fundraising performance, emphasize key findings and insights, and follow best practices in data visualization.
- Closely partner with the technology team to ensure seamless integrations with fundraising and engagement platforms to maximize efficiency and increase fundraising performance.
- Ensure proper documentation for key Development Operations procedures and compliance-related policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Background:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in various technology platforms and exceptional analytical skills to enhance efficiency and innovation
- Demonstrated comprehensive experience in nonprofit database management, with a track record of creating custom objects, fields, and workflows, and leading new integrations
- Expertise in nonprofit fundraising processes, compliance, donor cultivation and research, and maintaining high standards of data integrity and management
- Proven ability to foster strong collaboration across diverse teams, promoting open and direct communication to meet organizational objectives
- Strong project management skills with a focus on optimizing development operations
- Experienced in managing and mentoring teams, driving & measuring performance, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
Special Requirements:
- This is a full-time; hybrid in-office position based out of Los Angeles, CA and offers a 3/2 hybrid work schedule OR can be based remote anywhere within the United States and can be based anywhere within the United States and provides a flexible & non-traditional work schedule (relocation expenses not provided)
- Evening and weekend schedule supporting leadership meetings, video conferences, events, and operations
- Local Travel: Reliable transportation is required. The person filling this position will be expected to travel within their local area to support ongoing efforts
