The Manager of Airports Learning & Compliance is responsible for overseeing the learning delivery and ensuring compliance for all Airport Team Members and Business Partners. This role also leads a team of Regional Compliance Specialists and Facilitators, who manage learning initiatives and monitor learning & procedure compliance at our airports. In addition, this leader and their team are tasked with conducting the Airport Comprehensive Quality Audits, addressing findings through corrective actions, and collaborating across Airport Operations to drive continuous improvement. The role also ensures compliance with regulatory requirements from agencies such as the FAA, TSA, and DOT, as well as with Breeze's internal standards. This position involves regular collaboration with these agencies and internal teams. The Manager will also work closely with the Manager of Airport Policies and Procedures and their team to ensure that Breeze’s policies and training content align with regulations, internal values, and standards, while optimizing efficiency and maintaining the highest safety standards.

  • Oversee Learning Delivery and Compliance: Manage the learning programs for Airport Team Members and Business Partners, ensuring they meet compliance standards.
  • Lead Regional Compliance Specialists and Facilitators: Supervise and guide a team responsible for delivering training and monitoring compliance at airports.
  • Conduct Quality Audits: Lead the completion of Airport Comprehensive Quality Audits, addressing findings through corrective actions and improvements.
  • Collaboration Across Airport Operations: Partner with various airport operations teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and compliance practices.
  • Regulatory Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with external regulatory agencies, including the FAA, TSA, and DOT, as well as Breeze's internal standards.
  • Agency and Internal Team Partnerships: Build and maintain consistent partnerships with regulatory agencies and internal teams to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Coordinate with Policies and Procedures Team: Work regularly with the Manager of Airport Policies and Procedures to ensure alignment between training content, regulations, internal values, and safety standards.
  • Maintain Safety and Efficiency Standards: Ensure that all training programs, policies, and procedures are compliant with regulations while optimizing efficiency and prioritizing safety.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Actively work on identifying areas for continuous improvement across learning delivery, compliance, and airport operations.
  • Oversee quality and maintenance of learning records in our Quality Training Management System (QTMS)
  • Analyze data, identify trends, implement solutions, and ensure continuous performance improvement is achieved
  • Accountable for the Safety Management System (SMS) responsibilities described in Breeze’s SMS manual and Title 14 CFR Part 5.2
  • Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity and Excellence

Here's what you'll need to be successfulMinimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
  • 5+ years relevant work experience
  • Previous airline management experience
  • Experience managing people
  • Experience in different styles of teaching methods and understanding of adult learning principles and concepts
  • Extensive knowledge of current instructional theories and principles for both instructor-led and online training programs and developing training material in a variety of formats
  • Excellent time management and self-directed work skills
  • High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
  • Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
  • Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines
  • Willing to travel up to 75%

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
